I think character development is very strong in this book because of how the author describes the characters and how the author has them interact with each other. The development of Maddie creates a strong story.
I haven't experienced something similar to this book but I have felt something before. When I have a really good friend I am afraid that something might go wrong and I won't ever talk to them again.

I feel like everyone has gone through the experience in this book. The only difference is that the main character, Madeline, is sick and she can't leave the house, so the situation is different for her.
I really like the main character because she is sick and she is never able to leave the house but she still thinks positivly about life and thats what I really liek about her.
