People have kept trying to help Charlie but it hasn't worked Charlie has converted back to original state. I relate to the scientists because I know what it's like to be completely lost and hopeless, for they could not really save Charlie.

Charlie is a young man who has been born retartded, he gets an injection that is slowly making a genius. Charlie has shown arrogance quite a bit through out the book, he has purposely embarrassed the scientists that made him this smart.
