Meh. Not sure I care enough to finish it. There's faux gravitas, emotional strings, and no levity. Halfway through, and the point of the laptop (that's not a spoiler, it's right there in the book's description) is still unclear. I get the sense that it's just a MacGuffin, and there aren't any thrills surrounding it.
