Can't believe I finally heard the story of Dudu!

I do love me some shapeshifting monsters! Finding this short-story evolving a doppleganger to be very interesting.

Can definitely confirm that there has been a downgrade from “The Last Wish” to this book… none of the short-stories seem to have a common theme that attaches them (something that I really enjoyed in the previous book). It's going to be very hard to decided the amount of stars to this…

I adoooooore it so much when Dandelion makes an appearance. I also love Geralt's humor.

Geralt and a Sorcerer humiliating themselves to see who would get to be with Yennefer… oh, the QUEEN she is.

I've never seen Geralt complain so much about the most insignificant details… and the man is not even mistrusting that he's been poisoned or is under a spell. Wake up, Geralt!

I'm not sure where this second short-story is taking me, but man, do I LOVE to be getting some Geralt-Yen loving moments 🤭🖤

I love (absolutely LOOOOOVE) Geralt's love for Yen, but… that is also a huge vulnerability of his. As a witcher, Geralt is a very closed book for most things, but that doesn’t apply to his feelings towards Yennefer. And that usually is a vulnerability that enemies tend to explore and use on their favor… caution, Geralt. Caution!

What do you mean there is a four year gap between this and The Last Wish. What do you MEAN.

Also: forever obsessed with the yearning, pathetically simping side of Geralt. The things he will do for Yennefer… 😮‍💨🤭
