I fucking love Dumai and Nikeya like yes give me enemies to lovers yes give me forbidden love like wth this is the best toxic yuri I’ve ever read. Like Ez and Tuva are so fucking cute but every time I read Dumai’s POV I just wanna see if she’ll finally get with Nikeya like girl is pinning BAD.

Why do I lowk feel like the characters here are more interesting than in TPOTOT. I love love Ead and Sabran don’t get me wrong, but here I’m interested in reading about all of them! Dumai is a better character than Tané imo. I LOVE Tuva and Esbar, they’re my favs. The relationship between Glorian and Sabran is so interesting too! And I loved how the draconic plague was introduced! Wulf I know ur Tuva’s son

Okay so it took me a little bit to get into the book, but I’d say after page 80 it finally got me hooked. I really like all the characters so far, and I think the pacing, compared to TPOTOT is much better (I still love you, you’re still my favorite book). Right now I can already tell Glorian will fall in love with Wulf and she will be having an affair with him (kinda slay). Also slay Esbar and Tuva go lesbians
