I didn't pay attention to the length when I bought it-26 hours! I saw a clip of Ann Patchett talking about how few people had heard of it-how she thought that had to change. It worked-I took advantage of the quarterly annual(?) Audible sale-got it for a great price-immediately started listening, I'm 7 hrs in-so far it doesn't feel like it's dragging, glad I can listen@2x speed w/out it sounding bad-narration's great
