So the only prison on the Faroe Islands is an old radar station that can now host up to 14 prisoners and is usually only half full, mostly of men who got arrested for being drunk - what a place to be a villain :D

There's still not a lot of suspense and it doesn't feel like a real crime novel yet but the book really makes me want to visit the Faroe Islands

It's the slow story I had expected but it also has the rough atmosphere I had hoped for and the setting is definitely very interesting.
