Yesss! Not sure why, when you say "I found this problematic", people translate it to, "everyone who reads this is a shitstain!" That's not what it means. Not if you're a logical human being, anyways. :/

Same! I can express my feelings, but that does not mean that I hate it's fans. It's how I feel, and it's nothing personal.
I find a lot of projection in those posts. Not everyone, but an eerie projection lurks in some of those reactions.

Maybe they see you finding problems with how they behave. Or, they don't want to get into a conversation because they feel ill-equipped. In other words, they take your reviews personally.
Oh, that makes sense. Yeah, I feel like sometimes I'll talk about why I disliked a book and people get defensive about their interest in it. I get the instinct and don't blame those people, but sometimes they get rude, and that always sucks
