Wow I already finished it. I’m honestly shocked, I 100% prefered the second half bc of Thorn and Ophelia plus what we learned but this was a great book. I think some of the translation was just a bit off as some of the language used could be deemed offensive and/or outdated. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this and I am excited but also sad for the next book bc it will be over!! 4.5 ⭐️

“Fifty-six.” He cleared his throat to make his voice less hoarse. Ophelia had never seen him so intimidated despite his efforts not to show it. “That’s the number of my scars.”

I’ve waited so long for this moment, everything I’ve heard about this book was always about this. I LOVE IT OMGG.

“No half-measures,” he interrupted her. “I’m not and do not wish to be your friend.”

“I refuse to live forever feeling that I make you uncomfortable,” Thorn continued brusquely. “If it’s my claws that pur you off… I’m aware that I’m hardly attractive… this leg won’t stop me from..” Exasperated, he swept his brow with his hand, as if enduring a severe verbal challenge.”
