WHAT. THE. FUCK. Bassander decied to fuck the whole thing up by telling Hauptman to pull up. They destroyed the Cielcin worldship and Lin ‘killed’ Sagara. Everyone fled while the Cielcin were retaliating. I didn’t see this coming st all. This is soooooo fucked. Smythe and Crossflane died. And so many more.

I read a lot but rn they’re all negotiating. BUT. FINALLY. VALKA KISSED HADRIAN YEAAAAAAAAAA. MAN it was about time. long story short Had and her were trapped for a long time on Vorgossos. Switch betrayed they’re position by giving it to Lin. Now we’re here. Insane.

Okay way too much has happened but basically Hadrian and Valka went waaaay waaaay down into the palace and Hadrian met with a massive AI in the deep ocean. It ceased Had and gave him some crazy prescient visions of Cielcin and people we’ve yet to meet. They said that someone is coming and that Sagara will have to comply. They also called Had halfmortal. This is a gross understatement of what happened but holy fuck.

All of Hadrians friends left to get Tanaran, a trip that would take about 2 days. Had decided to stay back. He’s been roaming this huge palace and found a sort of garden. Also, he was fretted in his room by an incredibly coward and seducing SOM that was controlled by Kharn. Really fckin weird this guy’s btw. This whole place gives me the creeps. I have no idea where this is going but i’m here for it.

After finally making it to Vorgossos, and almost a month of waiting with a bunch of old palantines, Hadrian has met the Undying. Turned out to actually be the Kharn Sagara. Although not much was offered to Had. He was dismissed but Kharn said to bring Tanaran to him. Hmmm

Hadrian has been roaming around the ‘ship’ and found a sort of oracle. It had been able to read and recite moments of Had’s life, like Cat’s death on Emesh. When Had asked about his future, the oracle went mad screaming ‘Light! light! light!’. He remembered the weird trance he had in the ruins. So much has happened since that that i forget that there’s so much that hasn’t been explained yet. Cant wait

That was stressful lol but they eventually made it to the Enigma of Hours ship, which they never saw the outside, just darkness. But they’re on a 3 week journey to Vorgossos, if all goes well…

They spoke to Tanaran and ultimately he agreed to give blood.

Hadrian was able to book himself a passage to Vorgossos finally… by selling some Cielcin blood… yikes

They’re on March Station now, which is a completely human (or once human lol) built ring city that spans a 600mile diameter. People there are lawless, changed and alter by machines and implants and surgeries. It’s kinda like a crazy space-cyberpunk city. Hadrian is trying to get information to reach Vorgossos, and this weird doctor may have a name for him.
