I'm kinda over the "tragic gay tale".
Why must the overwhelming majority of queer representation in liturature be filled with strife, violence, and sexual assault?
These are not queer origins and they're super problematic in a world that already assumes the worst.
I suppose I'm supposed to draw the conclusion that it is either Scottish culture or fragile and toxic masculinity that is the source but ... Sheesh
