thoughts so far: my tolerance for this book is getting lower and lower. her writing style is so odd in that she rambles on and on about small irrelevant details that distract a lot from the plot... not that there is much of one anyways. each character is so different and extreme in their own weird ways... either super religious or super environmental-activist or super scientific or IDEK it's just exhausting to read
