Though just to be specific on the content: There are mild references to adult fantasy elements like the MC being an illegitimate child (a bastard according to text), it comes up a lot, but it’s handled cleanly and just mentioned in text without graphic detail. I’d definitely recommend it if you're ok with that. Hope it helps.
