Here is a good section of randomness rather than a quote, due to the amount of commitment from some of you ;)

“How was your day?” I prompted.
He threw his head back dramatically and feigned exhaustion. Michael was both the most attractive and the most ridiculous man I knew. Too bad the latter tended to outweigh the first. “Oh, you know, fending off questions from my evil sister, trying to make the house look presentable.”
“My poor, melodramatic friend.” I rolled my eyes.
He scoffed. “No one appreciates my hard work.”
“Maybe once you’re honest about it,” I teased but I very slowly realized the trap I walked into.
“Princess, you’re one to talk.” He laughed as he poked my arm playfully. I kept my face calm as I attempted not to wince from the touch. Especially because I thought he was being kinda cute.

Your writing is really good!!!! One thing I noticed is that when you wrote “the latter tended to outweigh the first” you used first instead of former. Not a bad thing just something I noticed

Thank you! Yes!!! He immediately nicknames her that at the beginning of the story, and at first, first it's to annoy her, but then as they progress he starts using it lovingly :)
