I dont think this book will ever grow old. Nor will its impact ever change for me. Every time I read it, I laugh, I growl, I weep. It’s a bit like the cycle of life. Call me melodramatic, I am, but it’s true. It just resonates with me. I love The Vampire Lestat, but Interview will always be my favorite. And one of my favorite books of all time. Oh, Claudia… Well, we’ll see what i read next.

I resonate with Louis’ nihilism so much. Perhaps that makes me infantile or naive, but I really don’t care. It doesn’t matter. Nothing matters. And that he remained with Armand, even KNOWING that he killed Claudia, just shows how little he cares about anything. I relate.

Oh my god I am ugly crying. Poor Claudia. Christ!

Claudia is right. Armand is winding Louis around his finger and Claudia can see that. God im so sad. It may not have been the life she deserved, but it was life all the same.

I *hate* Armand.

Oh god Im ill. Claudia, poor Claudia. Trapped forever in the body of a five year old child. That would fuck with anyone’s head. And Louis. Always seeing her as the child.

God Claudia is such a great character. It’s a real shame her end comes so quickly. Granted, it’s necessary for the tale and that cursed fuck Armand. Ugh. We’re about to see Armand. Gods help me.

‘I was your victim.’ Claudia isn’t wrong. Sigh. Always makes me sad, rereading this. Knowing how it all ends.

I always forget how frighteningly remote Claudia is to begin with. She’s also a blend of her dark parents, vicious like Lestat and thoughtful like Louis.

I forgot how much of a shit Lestat is in this book. Louis’ hatred of him is delicious.
