I’m upset at his coverage of the more current presidents. His opinions are way more apparent to be conservative. He was harsh to Carter and Obama. He was very lenient on Regan and both Bushes.

I felt that the author is a clear fan of Andrew Jackson. The chapter, glossed over the “Indian Problem” (quoted from the text) and how he treated his slaves. Very lack of confronting for this president.

So I could have done without the apparent judgement to History teachers not teaching history in the prologue. Being a teacher, I know for a fact they do and are teaching history.
