Judge all you want… I needed a palette cleanser after The Natural Way of Things. Yes, it’s clearly superficial with completely unrealistic/idealized politics and a contrived plot/relationship. But at 60 pages in, it seems like all that is “but in a good way”? Or at least an indulgent way. :)
