This book feels like a well kept secret of the 2010s YA Publishing world. Ritter’s literary quality is superb. His narrative flair is beautiful. And the characters and world are so vibrant.

What a fun book! Since this is pitched as Doctor Who meets Sherlock, I’m totally picturing Matt Smith as Jackaby and Jenna Coleman as Abigail. And it honestly as such Young Sherlock vibes. Loving it! Already ordered the rest of the series!
