ok ok stuff i've learned:
~なければなりない becomes ~なあかん; basically the なけらば (if I don't...) is shortened to just な and the なりない (will not do/is unacceptable) is replaced with あかん
する/しなさい/しろ gets shortened to せえ (and with other verbs) but thats too complicated for me to explain so i wont 😌

oh ya for some reason my blind self missed that the page numbers of the chapters are marked at the beginning lol so yayy no guessing

"I js wanna finish this chapter before bed!" it took me like an hour (or not i lwk lost track of time but whatever) and i was actually able to mostly understand stuff!! (except for those random words like 野糞 like erm-) but i was still googling like everything js in case lol
I'm so happy I'm almost starting to understand kansai-ben a little (probably not if it was spoken to me but oh well lol u can't have everything)

Ah i see i see so へん is like the kansai version of ない so if u say 死んでくれへん it’s like saying won’t u js die :D

I finally got a physical copy and am starting from the beginning again!
It doesn’t have page numbers so this time i js counted but ima have to js guess later on lol
So I learned that with kansai-ben u can use ~んといて instead of ~ないで when ur telling someone not to do something 💪😤

I can’t find any more of the Japanese version online so this might take a while 🫪

Omg I have made a kansai-ish dialect discoveryyy
U can replace ~てる (~ている) with とる!! I was so confused 😭😭

Finished chapter threee proud to say I understood several decent chunks of it!! I was able to figure out that すん was like する in “説明すんのめんどいわ” (and I knew mendoi from my totoro presentation) im so fluent frfr the ~っとるん stuff still confuses me tho 😔
