They go to a restaurant in Manhattan. We discover that Mia has been there many times and has a friendship with the owners, whom assume Adam is Mia's current boyfriend, which is really awkward. Mia ends up spilling Adam's beer everywhere and leaves with embarrassment, after an awkward conversation. Lastly, Adam tells us about how Mia and him lost connection after she left for college. Really enjoying this book so far.

Mia and Adam visit a bowling Alley in the city, which is located in a bus station. Since something is wrong with Mia's shoulder, Adam plays for both himself and Mia. She then talks about her first experiences at Juilliard. This book is pretty interesting and fills in the blanks about the first book.

Adam goes with Mia to hide from the paparazzi, and end up in an abandoned gazebo. Adam then talks to Mia about life since they separated. Adam then discusses what happened after Mia left and how him and Bryn met. I like this book so far because it gives backstory and fills in the unsolved pieces.

Adam goes to Mia's concert, and afterwards is told that Mia wants to see him backstage. They talk for a while, but it is awkward. Adam then talks about his bad encounter with Kim after Mia left and "broke up" with him. Lastly, Adam runs into Mia on the street and offers to get lunch with her, but it is interrupted. I am really enjoying this book.

We find out that Adam is going to see Mia perform a cello concert. We also hear about Mia's recovery and surgeries after the car accident. So far, i am really enjoying this book because it is in Adam's point of view and is very interesting.

We find out that Adam is a famous artist in his band "Shooting Star". he is currently in NY and just finish an interview, which got messy. We also find out that Adam and Mia broke up and he is now dating someone famous named Brynn. We also meet Adam's manager, Aldous.
