I’m reading the Fitzgerald translation but I’ll reread as Emily Wilson’s at some point.

A lot of the book is just fighting which is interesting but this book is just a war. I do love a warrior mourning his lover…

There’s too many people in this and women as war prizes makes me angry

Also certified Achilles hater here and I’m reading the the silence of the girls next or after the odyssey. (Everyone should read if they read either of homers epics)

I was going to read the Fagels translation but I’m lazy so I’ll start with Emily Wilson’s translation
Gotta finish before the Odyssey movie…. lol
