“Not a fan?” a low, dark voice asks from behind me. I spin around and am met with muscled, dark-tanned arms, forcing me to look up to see Caspian's face. His mismatched eyes gaze down at me, the left a warm, glowing amber, giving off the look of fire, while the right an icy, startling blue.
I quickly look away from him, my eyes drifting off to where Everett and Clara are currently dancing, smiling at each other. I’m glad that at least one of us is happy even if they have to stay secret.
I’m so completely entranced by the way they move together that I don’t even realize Caspian has gotten closer until I feel a large hand grip my chin and tilt my head back to him. Although his grip is firm, it's also gentle, along with the look in his eyes.
