I just read Leaf by Niggle this afternoon—a fascinating short story, full of allegory and thoughtful observations. Aside from some pretty obviously Roman Catholic theology, this piece has much to offer in terms of reflection on the shortness of life, and the eternal implications of our work here.

I’m really enjoying it—Roverandom especially, the imaginative story of what happens to a lost toy dog.
