I love this so far, the FMC, Jessie, has a hard time reading social cues and body language. And so far we have seen how a miscommunication with her brother made both of them feel crummy, and confused, and draw the wrong conclusion. And I like how the author is showing Jessie working through her feelings on confusion and upset. Plus the kids are the same ages as mine!
