Searing and important. The poetry is not meant to make you feel good -its makes you look within yourself and throughout society. The poems are painful, isolating and deliberate & I like that. I am listening and reading along side the audio version.

While marketed to YA audiences - I think it would work for a more mature group of students (juniors or seniors)
