I’m finding it really difficult to stick with this book. It’s frustrating and repetitive and vague - it feels very disjointed to me. Also there’s a line that said the main character watched a fishmonger adjust a carp so “she could see its tongue and teeth” but fish don’t have tongues. I just don’t understand why this is important to the story.
