There are so many moments in this book where she mentions people treating her like this ‘dumb girl’ from North Korea and I’m struggling to see her any other way if this is genuinely what she thinks America was founded upon. Please, read one single book about Native American history and try and claim this as true

ALSO, claiming awe that the USA ‘is dedicated to the right of each inhabitant to try his or her best to be happy’ (in reference to the constitution)so much so that it is one of the principles the country was ‘built on’….

Also, getting the distinct feeling she believes no one is entitled to claim suffering unless they grew up in North Korea

Chapter 1: Yikes, has she really just compared the belief that it’s okay to choose your own pronouns to the fantastical belief imposed by the Kim dynasty that 1 + 1 doesn’t equal 2?
