Oh no! This one was on my list. That bad?

The FMC narrator is SO dramatic it sounds like she’s near tears half the time and has the longest pauses between words but then says the words themselves at a normal pace so I can’t even speed it up. Idk what happened between the two main characters 8 years ago but it’s SUCH a big deal and she can’t get over it and won’t talk about it and I’m just getting annoyed. I also don’t even understand why they like(d) each other they’re so flat. I looked up reviews and saw a spoiler that was the weirdest plot twist I don’t even want to finish now hahah
