Fucking YES. For people so smart we sure can be so very dumb.
This series is interpreted in a way that makes sense for quite a lot of the most-likely demonized/christianized parts of the myths— it feels like it could have actually been told this way by the heathens of the time, not how Christian’s portrayed them. The modern aspect of this particular book was fascinating and a refreshing addition to the story!
