Great start so far. Already introduced some interesting characters and set the stage for the Islam vs Christianity battle for the Mediterranean. Love Roger’s writing style in this one - feels like game of thrones the way he’s bouncing around journeys for each character.

The scale of these navy fleets between Charles and Suleiman are ridiculous. Losing 140 ships and 8 thousand men like it’s nothing. Suleiman and Hayreddin are dominating the holy war so far
