Ah so the Majriti are the zealots of the Asharites. I’m sure they will prove to be problematic.

More tears. And so ends Al-Rassan. It saddens me that Fernan was forever by Diego’s brush with death. Ammar’s final poem was beautiful. This book *is* beautiful. Truly a masterpiece. Guy Gavriel Kay, there are few who write as well as you. This will be something to reread for sure.

This is so heartbreaking. This will be a bittersweet ending for sure.

It was always going to come down to this. Rodrigo and Ammar on opposite sides of the board. God it’s like a knife raking through my chest.

Fear. That’s what all of this conflict boils down to. Fear and the few rulers with the will to power. I think Diego is a goner. My god, this has gotten so ugly so fast. Fezana will fall.

Ah Rodrigo. You poor man. I know for certain when Ramiro calls for him, he will return a heeled dog. Because duty is his nature. It will be his ruin.

Jehane contemplating whether there will be a Ragosa Carnival. A good question. The answer is probably not, if the Jaddites successfully reunite Esperana.
