Odysseus this is getting ridiculous, sending your son to bed so you can lark as an old man and “aggravate the slave girls and your mother, and make her cry and let her question me.” What is the purpose? It’s like making a fake instagram to test if your girlfriend would cheat on you.

This whole story is like an insane episode of doctor phil. Everyone that talks to Telemachus is like “you are just like your father, if he even is your father…”
Plus Athena cracks me up. Prays to Poseidon while dressed like an old man then grants the prayer herself. Messy, spiteful and meddling, perfect.
