I think I needed to read this book especially at this point in my life. A gentle reminder I needed: Do not attach your inner state or value to anything other than Allah as he is the only constancy in our life. Everything else is temporary. If your inner state is dependent on your attachments that’s an indicator to let go and strengthen your attachment with Allah. This life is not meant to be perfect - Jannah is.
