I noticed that the writing style of James Dashner is very simple, I was surprised by the use of his very non-complicated use of words. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed, when i started reading this book. The author incorporates very self-explanatory adjectives, nothing over the top. Also, they way the author describes the main character, Thomas, doesn't make me identify with him.

If I keep reading, I thought, I would find the answers to my questions. I was wrong. I noticed that the author leaves me with many questions. Since the story began, I have questions, in which still haven't been answered. And I think, maybe that's the the author's writing style. His style of leaving the reader with questions about the characters, and what certain words they use mean such as "Clank" and "Shuck".
