I kinda suspected Sadako was male to some extent since the granny said the mother would have a boy. Everything that happened to her is horrible, but unfortunately realistic. She did nothing wrong and yet somehow it's "her fault " for being born that way.

Less than one day left and yet the book is only about 2/3 the way through. How curious and anxiety inducing

I was hoping that wasn't the case, but I figured it was. I hope Sadako really does a number on Ryuji, making it slow and painful and hopefully embarrassing. Sick twat might enjoy that though.
