so sorry but the facts that are being dropped as 'groundbreaking' would make any person even remotely interested in western art history smack their foreheads. No way would anyone in the ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO be amazed by the main character knowing that the medieval period liked color.... Should have had her work at a small town museum with little funding…

As long as I suspend my belief in a medieval art historian not knowing basic facts about medieval Europe, this book is hilarious!
