maybe i’m insensitive but this is such a lazy way of like telling us how much thayer is still grieving bc why tf after 6 years would he be talking about the drowning? it feels like the most convenient conversation for the reader to sit through but it’s sooo unrealistic like after that amount of time he’d be talking about SOMETHING ELSE NO????
