Some chapters are incredibly intense, especially the one featuring Brady's memory of how he and his mother abused, and ultimately killed his four-year-old brother because he was considered a little "slow"..

Hodges starts to regain his confidence, not only in terms of the Mr. Mercedes case, while our psychopathic killer, Brady, begins to lose his composure, making one mistake after another. One of the best moments so far is the introduction of the much-loved character Holly, who goes on to appear in many of Stephen King's novels.

Brady is sick sick SICK!!!!

First chapter is over and we already have a perfect intro to story and main characters.
