The fact that "heretics" were burned alive at the stake during the reign of Bloody Mary is horrifying enough. But that there were so called fast fires, which were created so the victim died quicker from smoke inhalation, and slow fires that were intentionally used so the victim slowly, agonizingly roasted alive, only perishing after vital organs were cooked to the point of giving out is.....just....I have no words.
