Poor girl just can't catch a break. The scariest thing is though is that the situation is completely plausible because the court of public opinion is a b*tch. Check a different century and you would find a mob with pitchforks or a hangman's noose over a neighborhood tree. The age of technology may not kill you, but it will haunt you relentlessly until you decide to do it yourself.
