I really like Scortius the charioteer. Well, Crispin will not be forgotten anytime soon. Not with that entrance into the court of Sarantium.

Well Crispin just made two strong enemies at the very least. Leontes and his wife Styliane. Yikes. The court of Sarantium is rife with plotting but what can one expect in an Empire of such magnitude?

Well Crispin is already making an ass of himself. God. He really has no self preservation.

And I was just starting to like Linon. So, that’s how Zoticus bound life into metal. Curious. And it explains why Linon knew so much of the rituals. She was herself a sacrifice. God, I feel like crying and I dont know why. ugghhh

Oh my god, I am nailed to my seat. Ludan himself coming from the mist, and then Kasia following him. And now they’re all fucked. Oh god.

They make quite the party; Crispin, Kasia, and now Vargos. Interested to see what woes assail them on the Day of the Dead.

Holy christ, this Day of the Dead business is fucked. Sacrifices in the forest that are most unpleasant. It’s good to see Crispin has a heart, even if it’s only because poor Kasia reminds him of his own daughter.

The mechanical bird is funny LMAO and he was right. That Senator wanted to ride Crispin’s bones.

I like Zoticus. An interesting pagan alchemist. All of the characters so far have been memorable, and that is quite the feat.
