Coworker downloaded the audiobook. I told him I won't get excited until he's minimally 50% through, as he's a) had this on his Audible list since I read it the first time, and b) he's abandoned EVERY OTHER BOOK I'VE RECOMMENDED HIM.

Boss also abandoned this when I first handed it to him because it was too dark, but said he may be willing to try again.

"Did your mother ever teach you to swim, little one?"

I have read this series. And if I were not at work, the scream of rage that wants to come out at this scene is so, so strong.

"It's truth to say in all save solitude - and in some sad cases, even then- you can always count on the company of fools."

Happy sighing. I love this book. I miss this feeling.

Let's not get our hopes up. But I have been wanting to re-read this in physical form to tab the hell out of it, so let's.....just....see how I do.
