So far so good. His historical sections on baptism do bring out some interesting points on Lutheran and Baptismal regeneration, basically saying that Luther sort of believed in baptismal regeneration but was undecided on the matter. I wonder if Jordan Cooper would complain that this is another Reformed man not doing justice to the Lutheran position.
