Interesting story. I'm definitely more spiritual than religious, but this book makes me sad for Aeir. Does Malachi truly love her or he wants a version of "Anna". 
I guess I hate feeling like Aeir is Anna's stand in. Aeir deserves her own love story without the aid of reincarnation.
Malachi was a complete dick to her and she doesn't deserve to be his punching bag.
