The author illustrates disaster and despair in an almost poetic manner - not only shining a light on the horrors that Palestinian people have been living through for many years, but also portraying the guilt and superiority of some Jewish residents as a double-edged sword. It is impeccably written, making my heart ache more every time I turn a page.
