Alan Tomkins I haven’t read this one yet. I’d love to read your impressions of it when you are done with it. As you know, I’m almost as great a fan of the Nero Wolfe books as you are!

Jill H. I have to tell you that this book has some serious problems which are hard to ignore.

Please, do tell. I usually find Rex Stout to be reliable and consistent as an author. What’s going on with this one that has you troubled? I’ll skip this one if you think it’s not worth my time.

Jill H. As you know, Alan, I adore Stout's Nero Wolfe books. Put off reading this one until I write my review and you can decide. I should be finished in a couple of days. To put your mind at ease, the plot is interesting.
