this is amazing so far. way better than summer in the city. the representation of grief, trauma, depression and anxiety is refreshing and realistic. the budding friendship forming between bennett and henry is warm. i'm so glad to see an MMC who is kind and friendly by nature, and shows bennett so much grace. but he feels real. it doesn't feel like a show just to look like a good "book boyfriend". loving this.

will be comparing this to summer in the city a lot bc of the nyc setting. so far, i'm really intrigued and rooting for bennett. it is feeling a little depressing at the moment though. don't go into it thinking it's light and fluffy, i'm sure there'll be heavier topics in this. also... emetophobia warning from page 1 hahahahaha
