The Professor corrected Daisy shortly after they entered the Perilous Glasshouse. Miss Know-It-All Professor didn't have her priorities straight since they were surrounded by dangerous plants.

She did provide useful information about Daisy's dandelion paperweight, which I appreciated. My opinion about her is mixed.

I can see why the Professor would irk some people. She has that know-it-all mentality and I get why some readers wouldn't like that. She was technically right when she corrected Daisy by using the plural "cacti" instead of cactuses. Indigo emphasized that it wasn't the time or the place for the Professor to correct Daisy for saying "cactuses". I agreed with him about that.

"I knew you were you stupid, but do you actually have a death wish?"

It was rude of the Professor to call Daisy stupid. That was tactless. She (the Professor) made up for that by going into the Perilous Glasshouse with Daisy to help her. I'm relieved that she stopped icing Daisy out.

I have a lot of empathy for Daisy rn.

It was interesting to learn more about Sheldrake, but he's still a creep.

The upcoming chapter seems like it'll be suspenseful, but I'm exhausted. 🥱 I'll read it tomorrow.

I don't like Ivy, but she's the Mean Girl so I'm not supposed to like her. Hopefully she'll get her comeuppance during this book. 🤞🙏

"Planting a seed is an act of hope," she said. "It means you have faith in the future. Think of that hope: hold it steady, and don't let go."

I love this idea. That's a positive, unique way to think of planting a seed. It makes sense too.
