I knewwww that was going to happen but it still made me giggle hehe.

Damn so much has happened and all of it is insane, great ending to the second Arc. I feel so bad for Xie Lian, his character is so multifaceted and resilient that you just want to root for him even when he’s being a dummy.

Wow actually blown away by these chapters. So much is happening but it works so well. This book is also doing a really good job so far of putting the pieces together that the 1st and 2nd book left ambiguous. The human face disease pandemic is giving me flashbacks to covid, may we never forget lord knows someone has to remember it lolll

A bit confused why he’s suddenly decided to fight the refugees, when he was just trying to bring them water and help them survive. I mean yeah he’s gotta do something to help the situation but I just don’t understand his switch
