I'm not reading this any more. I might come back to it, but the author annoyed me a bit, with her sense of entitlement and her great indignation at the NHS. I found her whiney and spoilt. So I'll stop reading for now

Thought I'd finally start reading this - it was pre-course suggested reading for SLT. About an eminent British professor who had a stroke and consequent aphasia, from his wife's perspective. So far, she is giving the background of his life, from childhood. She writes about him in an almost worshipful way! But she is 15 years younger than him and I get the feeling it's a marriage where she idolised him a bit!
